Rakesh Kumar came to Canada from MP, India in 1989 and spent over ten years as head chef at a popular Indian restaurant in Scarborough before opening Tanjore Catering & Sweets with his wife Neeru in 2004. Today Tanjore is a family restaurant in Belleville.
